BOMAPAC Maryland

BOMAPAC Maryland is BOMA Baltimore's political action committee. Developed in 2004, BOMAPAC Maryland supports candidates whose interests are aligned with that of the commercial real estate industry. Supporting the PAC will help BOMA forge strong relationships with representatives in Annapolis and will enhance BOMA Baltimore's ability to represent you.

BOMAPAC Maryland relies on contributions for funding. This is truly an investment in your future and the future of our industry. You may send contributions to:

BOMAPAC Maryland

9 Newport Drive, Suite 200
Forest Hill, MD 21050

Contributions to BOMAPAC Maryland are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. In Maryland, an individual, corporation, or other business entity may not contribute more than $4,000 to a single candidate or campaign finance entity (such as a PAC), and a total of $10,000 to all campaign finance entities during each four-year election cycle. The current election cycle is 1/1/2011 through 12/31/2014. Please direct any questions to Jennifer Thornton at or (443) 966-3855 ext 151.

BOMAPAC International

BOMAPAC is BOMA International’s federal political action committee. Whether or not you are politically “active”, there is no better way to support the candidates and the issues that impact your professional and personal lives. Help us to ensure that congressional seats are held by individuals who understand real estate’s issues and challenges and can have a positive impact on your livelihood.

By contributing to BOMAPAC you are strengthening our industry's voice on Capitol Hill. In supporting the re-election campaigns of our friends on the hill, we show our appreciation for their willingness to learn more about our industry and assist us in moving important legislation forward. These members of Congress eventually vote on issues impacting your business, and the industry as a whole.

Who can contribute? BOMA members, with the exception of foreign nationals, are eligible to contribute to BOMAPAC. However, donations must be personal, not corporate. You may contribute as much or as little as you want, but not exceeding $5,000 ($10,000 for a married couple) in a calendar year. Under Federal Election Commission (FEC) rules, BOMA International is required to report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer of each individual who contributes.  To learn more about BOMAPAC, please visit BOMA International's Advocacy Center
