BOMI Scholarship Deadline is April 8

BOMI International is now accepting applications for the J. Bradley Kennedy Scholarship Award until Monday, April 8, 2019. Take the first step in achieving property management’s most sought after designation, the RPA®, at little to no cost to you or your company.

Hear from a past award recipient and BOMI graduate as she shares how the award has already advanced her real estate career and put her on track to earning her RPA®.

“I started as an Assistant Property Manager with years of finance and real estate experience; however, I lacked the industry knowledge needed to be a successful Property Manager.

Being awarded the J. Bradley Kennedy Scholarship has allowed me to attend BOMI courses that have truly broadened my knowledge of managing commercial properties. I am on track to earn my RPA® in 2020.

Since obtaining the scholarship, I have been promoted to a Property Manager! So, I can attest to the fact that being a recipient of this scholarship has helped propel me in an industry that I knew very little about.”

- Tiffany Harris, 2018 J. Bradley Kennedy Award Recipient

BOMA Baltimore Members Make an Impact by Helping Others

The Community Service Committee wants to thank those of you who brought hats and mittens to our holiday party and who supported our super sports raffle fundraiser. We raised $3756, which was $1000 more than we raised last year!  The Hats and Mittens Drive netted 294 items, valued at $805. We beat last year’s item count by 1 item. The winter hats, mittens and scarves have been delivered to Sarah’s House and PACT.

PACT is affiliated with Kennedy Krieger and is Helping Children with Special Needs. Our donation went to the therapeutic nursery’s children and families.

SARAH’S HOUSE is a supportive housing program, offering emergency and transitional housing with an array of other services for homeless families in Anne Arundel County.

The staff at Sarah’s House sent BOMA Baltimore a lovely thank you note which read in part, “Your gifts helped to brighten our Christmas and warmed both hands and hearts.”

The BOMA Community Service Committee will be sharing more info about our collective 2013 charitable efforts at the February BOMA program.

Thank you, thank you, to all our members; we appreciate your support and wish you a Happy New Year 2014!
